Honri Group EVs Making Friends Abroad

According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in 2023, China’s production and sales volume of EVs reached 9.587 million and 9.495 million respectively, up 35.8% and 37.9% YoY, with a market share of 31.6%; compared with the same period, global sales volume of EVs were 14.653 million, among which China's accounted for approximately 65% - the ninth consecutive year for China to be the first globally in terms of EV production and sales volume. The data shows that after years of development, China has basically built a EV industry chain that incorporates both independent research and development capabilities and market competitiveness.

Based on this, more and more domestic EV brands and products are accelerating to go abroad and actively explore more possibilities in overseas markets. On March 26, the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show officially kicked off, with many Chinese EV brands participating in the exhibition, covering hybrid EVs, pure EVs, fuel cell vehicles, etc.. Among the hundreds of dazzling models, the reporter noticed leader of the domestic micro electric vehicle industry - Hongri Automobile Group, also brought diverse products of its key brands of Honri, VIAUTO and Hoxid to the auto show.

Its heard that this is the second time that Honri Automobile Group has participated in the Bangkok Motor Show. Models of Honri X9, S1MAX, VIAUTO BOMA EV, Hoxid ID2, JM07 have landed in Bangkok, a new record high.

 As a high-speed passenger car, VIAUTO is favored by Southeast Asian consumers for its spacious space and affordable price, and has become a hot-selling product in the Southeast Asian market. Hoxid series, which focus on E3W, are widely praised for their diverse styles, outstanding quality and strong practicality.

Overseas auto shows are important communication platforms for the global automotive industry. As a company with a highly international vision, participating in overseas auto shows is an important part of the global strategic layout of Honri Auto Group. Furthermore, we actively respond to the green development trend of the global automotive industry, increase R&D investment in the field of EVs, and launch more new EVs compliant with international environmental standards to meet the overseas market's demand for environmentally friendly and energy-saving vehicles.

Last but not least, we further strengthen strategic cooperation with overseas partners, jointly explore and develop emerging markets, expand overseas sales channels and service networks, and provide global consumers with a more convenient and efficient car buying and driving experience.

 

Currently, Honri Automobile Group owns 3 production facilities – Rizhao, Binzhou and Jinzhai, 2 R&D centers in Shanghai and Qingdao, 177 valid R&D patents in China as well as 3 key technologies for micro electric vehicles.
